With effect 1st August 2007, all residential properties with at least 4-bedrooms being sold within England and Wales are required to have a Home Information Pack (HIP) before they can be marketed. 3-bedroom properties will require the Packs from 10th September, 2007 and the dates when smaller properties will need to have the Packs will be announced shortly.
